iPhone Email Configuration
The Tutorial below can also be used to configure your iPad or iPad2
To configure the account first look on your iphone for an icon named settings. This is a gray icons with gears on it.

Once you openened the Settings page, look for an option Mail, Contacts, Calendars, and open it.

This will take you to another page where you will look for an option named Add Account. Open that option to get started.

You will now have several options regarding the type of account you want to add. Choose from Other from the menu.

On this screen choose Add Mail Account to continue

You are now ready to add the account. First fill in Your Name as you want others to see it when the receive your email. Second add your Email Address for your domain, followed by the password for your account. Finally put a description for your account in the Description box and click Next to continue.

In this screen you will need to fill in some important information. First make sure you choose IMAP from the options. Then go ahead and make sure the Name, Address, and Description fields are all filled in.
Once this is done, you need to fill in the Incoming Mail Server, and Below that you will see the Outgoing Mail Server.
We are first going to fill in the incoming mail server. For the incoming mail server you will need the HOST NAME which will be "mail.yourdomain.com" replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain name.
In the Username Section put the email address for the domain your are configuring, followed by the password.
For the Outgoing mail server you will need the HOST NAME which will be "smtp.yourdomain.com" replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain name.
In the Username Section put the email address for the domain your are configuring, followed by the password.

Once you are done Click Next to continue and you will see the screen showing to the to the word Verifying. Wait while connects to the server to check the settings.

While the Verifying is going on you will see 2 Popups each with a title named "Cannot Verify Server Identity" This is because your domain does not have an SSL Certificate. Simply click Continue. The first popup will be for the Incoming Mail and the Second will be for the Outgoing Mail. Once you Click Continue on both the account will be added.


If all was successful than you will see a checkmarks appear on the account and it will take you to another screen where all you need to do is choose Save from the menu on the top to finalize the account. Once you click on save, Click on the Home button which is the circle on the bottom of your iphone and it will take you back to the main screen. Look for an icon named MAIL which will show you all your messages.
